BRAND and WEBSITE DESIGN in London

Premium branding and Squarespace web design for London's established founders - for the businesses that are ready to look as good as they actually are.

London has always been part of how I work, even though my studio is based in the Midlands. It's just over an hour on the train, and I find myself drawn back regularly - not just for client meetings, but for the kind of inspiration that genuinely feeds my work.

There are worse ways to find inspiration than an afternoon in Liberty or wandering through Fortnum & Mason - and I do both, regularly (and completely unashamedly!) The attention to detail in the way those brands present themselves, from the meticulous window displays down to the packaging, is the kind of thing I find myself thinking about long after I've left. Every year I make a pilgrimage to Liberty's Christmas department too, which probably tells you everything you need to know about me. And if Chelsea in Bloom coincides with a trip down, even better - there's something about the way brands interpret a brief through flowers that I find genuinely fascinating.

That attentiveness to how the best brands look, feel and communicate is exactly what I bring to the work I do for founders operating in this market.

I've worked with London-based clients across luxury jewellery, the wedding industry and family photography - and the thing they tend to have in common is this: they're doing exceptional work, but their brand hasn't kept up.

What it takes to brand a London business

The London market is unforgiving in the best possible way. Your clients are sophisticated, they're comparing you to the best in the world, and they make decisions quickly - often based on how something looks before they've read a single word. In that context, a brand that doesn't immediately communicate your level isn't just a missed opportunity - it's costing you.

The founders I work with in London aren't looking for a logo refresh. They're ready for a complete repositioning - a brand that does the work of attracting the right enquiries, commanding the right fees and placing them where they've always belonged: at the premium end of their market. That shift is what I do - and in a city like this, the results tend to be felt quite quickly.

From template to luxury: Sugar & Stories

Jasmine, founder of Sugar & Stories, creates artisanal wedding cakes that are genuinely works of art. When she came to me, she'd been using the same template brand for eight years - and while her cakes had evolved into something truly exceptional, the brand around them hadn't moved at all. She was fielding price objections and her work wasn't being seen for what it was worth.

We began with deep brand strategy and discovery work: getting to the heart of what Sugar & Stories actually stood for, what Jasmine's clients needed to feel before they'd even made contact and what was standing between her current position and the luxury market she belonged in. The new identity - a customised serif logo, delicate peony linework, a palette built around romance and refinement - did what a great brand is supposed to do. It told the truth about her work.

Since launching, Jasmine has seen a shift in the quality of her enquiries that she describes as almost hard to believe. Dream clients, high-end venue partnerships and a brand that finally works as beautifully as her cakes look.

The quality of enquiries I’ve been getting since the rebrand is insane! I obviously knew I needed a rebrand, but seeing the enquiries I’m getting now, it’s crazy - I’m ecstatic!

The full picture: Georgina Cathery Jewellery

Georgina Cathery Jewellery is a London-based high jewellery brand creating bespoke pieces that are made to be worn and passed on. Georgina's clients are discerning - many of them familiar with Bond Street luxury - and the brand needed to meet that standard while still feeling personal, warm and completely her.

What we built was an identity with real emotional depth at its centre. The signature heart and sunray icon - inspired by Georgina's two sons - anchors a visual world that balances sophistication with warmth: rich raspberry pink held against soft grey and charcoal, refined editorial typography and a website built around restraint and space so that every piece feels like it deserves to be looked at carefully. The result is a brand that is, as Georgina would say, ‘unmistakably her’.

And it extends beyond the screen - the project also included jewellery packaging design, because for a brand at this level, every touchpoint matters.

Tamsin has been so amazing throughout the whole process of building my brand identity and website. I had so many ideas but no idea how to start and she was incredible at supporting me the whole way. She listened, advised and created something I’m so so happy with.

Branding & Website Design for a London Family Photographer

London's range is part of what makes it such interesting territory to work in. I've also had the pleasure of working with Rachel Ragheb, a natural-light family photographer based in West London whose work takes her to some of the city's most beautiful locations - Holland Park, the grounds of Fulham Palace and as the exclusive photographer for the Lindo Wing, some of the most precious early moments in her clients' lives. Rachel's brand needed to carry the same warmth, elegance and quiet artistry as her photography. That kind of work - translating something deeply personal into a visual identity - is exactly what I love most about this job.
